I just want to send a BIG thank you to Little Passports!!! They let me use their science kits at station events for at-risk kids. So far, I have used their Optics kit at Atlanta Mission, Low-Income Apartments, and at a refugee after-school program. We use their science kit to help teach about optics and then Super Science Kids helps the kids make their own Thaumatropes to keep. They love this station. Also, Little Passports donated 10 science kits for my cross country tour I will be doing this summer. I will be visiting shelters and foster organizations across the United States to bring them science kits. Their support means a lot to me. Thank you, Little Passports!
My name is Angelica Krubeck and I am 10 years old. I love science. It's one of my favorite things to do. My Papa gave me the challenge to make a nonprofit. Science I love and kids I love, so put them together and it just makes sense. I knew that some kids out there don't get the chance to be creative with science, like how I do. I strongly believe that no kid should be without the education and enjoyment of science! I hope to inspire kids to do great things, to succeed in science, and to develop a love for science despite the challenges they are facing in their life.
