Super Science Kids, Inc. is launching a fundraising campaign to raise money to send the girls that live at Jesse's House Shelter to Tellus Museum this summer. By donating to this cause, you will allow a young girl the chance to tour the Tellus Museum and explore science!

http://joymaker.generationon.org/story/614 Thank you to Hasbro and GenerationOn for giving me this grant. You helped me spread joy to a lot of kids for Christmas! Such a great opportunity to serve 50 foster kids tonight! Thank you SAFFT for the opportunity to serve! A humongous thank you to Steve Spangler Science for donating Insta-snow for the kids to explore!! Also, thank you Dr. Tonya for proofing my osmosis lesson! I got a few giggles. 😁
I taught the kids about polymers, osmosis, and the difference between physical & chemical reactions. We let the kids make their own tub of snow and gave them a couple holiday figures to play with in their snow. Exploding fun! I am so excited that I was picked by Generation On to be a Joy Maker Ambassador! My upcoming service project will be sponsored by Hasbro. They will be providing 100 toys to a charity of my choice. I'm so excited to pass out these gifts to my foster kid friends at SAFFT's kids night out next week! I can't wait to bring them joy.
❤️❤️❤️❤️ #JoyMaker I enjoyed my time at a SALT meeting this morning presenting my speech, "Together We Can Stop Plastic Pollution". You're never too old to learn about science and how you can help get rid of plastic pollution! Thank you Seniors and Lawmen Together for the opportunity! Everyone was so kind and supportive of me being there, I even enjoyed the cheek squeezing.😁

AuthorMy name is Angelica Krubeck and I am 14 years old. I love science. It's one of my favorite things to do. When I was 8, one of my friends opened up to me. She shared how she grew up in a shelter and how hard every day was. After that conversation, I decided I wanted to help kids like her in some way. Science I love and kids I love, so put them together and it just makes sense. I knew that some kids out there don't get the chance to be creative with science, like how I do. I strongly believe that no kid should be without the education and enjoyment of science! Not only does it help them get away from their worries for a little while, but it also provides education to them. I hope to inspire kids to do great things, to succeed in science, and to develop a love for science despite the challenges they are facing in their life. Archives
