Super Science Kids

Dear Mr. Spangler,
I just want to thank you for everything you do for kids. Your science experiment ideas have helped me SO much with providing science fun to at-risk kids. Recently, I did an event for low-income housing. I taught bubble science using your method of cutting the pipettes, using glycerine in the bubble mixture, and using hand gloves. The kids LOVED it and I had SO much fun teaching it! Here's a picture of me teaching. And your slime goo kit has helped me ...provide "make your own slime" stations at shelters, refugee afterschool programs, and foster events!! Who doesn't love slime? Oh and my mom and I watched your STEM camp live FB post, because we hope to do a stem camp next summer for foster kids, and I think you're so right...I need to let all the kids I meet know that there's a job out their waiting just for them! I hope to inspire the next scientists, too. So, thank you again for everything you do and for helping me empower kids!! Love, Jelly

I had a late night packing Summer Science Snack backpacks for the foster kids. These will have our fun Causality kit in them. I hope the kids enjoy them.
Join me in fundraising for Red Nose Day, May 25th! For every person I can take a picture with wearing our red noses together, I will donate $1 of money I have saved. It will also be matched by the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation!
So what does a donation do? The money we raise supports projects that ensure kids are safe, healthy, educated, and EMPOWERED!!! Red Nose Day funds programs in all 50 states and in some of the poorest communities in Latin America, Asia and Africa. Thank you so much Super Science Scholastics for willing to donate 300 of your awesome magazines!!!! These wonderful magazines will be given to the kids at the shelters during my cross country tour. It is such a funny coincidence that we both have "super science" in our names!! Sciencey minds think alike!
I just want to send a BIG thank you to Little Passports!!! They let me use their science kits at station events for at-risk kids. So far, I have used their Optics kit at Atlanta Mission, Low-Income Apartments, and at a refugee after-school program. We use their science kit to help teach about optics and then Super Science Kids helps the kids make their own Thaumatropes to keep. They love this station. Also, Little Passports donated 10 science kits for my cross country tour I will be doing this summer. I will be visiting shelters and foster organizations across the United States to bring them science kits. Their support means a lot to me. Thank you, Little Passports!
Doing science stations for the refugee kids today was so much fun!!! I love being with all the kids so much!!! A BIG thank you to my friend, Lilli, and Mr. Michael for helping me teach today! I couldn't have done it without them. Thank you so much Mom and Dad for helping too.❤️😄
I am so thankful to have received a huge shipment of book donations from Apologetics Press today!!! These will be amazing gifts to the kids we serve!! Thank you sooo much, Apologetics Press!
I had a great conference call this morning with a publisher willing to donate materials to the kids I serve! I'm so thankful that they were willing to talk with me.
It was an awesome event tonight! I think the kids had so much fun! We did a science station night for one of the apartment complexes downtown. I loved that the kids kept saying, "This is so much fun!" We served around 30 kids!

AuthorMy name is Angelica Krubeck and I am 14 years old. I love science. It's one of my favorite things to do. When I was 8, one of my friends opened up to me. She shared how she grew up in a shelter and how hard every day was. After that conversation, I decided I wanted to help kids like her in some way. Science I love and kids I love, so put them together and it just makes sense. I knew that some kids out there don't get the chance to be creative with science, like how I do. I strongly believe that no kid should be without the education and enjoyment of science! Not only does it help them get away from their worries for a little while, but it also provides education to them. I hope to inspire kids to do great things, to succeed in science, and to develop a love for science despite the challenges they are facing in their life. Archives
