500!! We survived participating in one of our biggest events ever! It was such a wonderful opportunity to engage so many great kids in foster care. They concentrated, laughed, absorbed, and screamed in glee with slimey hands! Thank you to Mr. Jack Wood GA Tech Research Institute Scientist, Dr. Nathan Harrison UNG Physics Professor, Dr. Amanda Moffett UNG Physics Professor and my dear friend Netanya for serving with me. So thankful to the Hall is Home for the Holidays committee for investing in a young girl’s mission and allowing me to join this event. It was SO much fun!!!!! #empoweringyouth #atriskyouth #fostercare Hall is Home for Kids

AuthorMy name is Angelica Krubeck and I am 14 years old. I love science. It's one of my favorite things to do. When I was 8, one of my friends opened up to me. She shared how she grew up in a shelter and how hard every day was. After that conversation, I decided I wanted to help kids like her in some way. Science I love and kids I love, so put them together and it just makes sense. I knew that some kids out there don't get the chance to be creative with science, like how I do. I strongly believe that no kid should be without the education and enjoyment of science! Not only does it help them get away from their worries for a little while, but it also provides education to them. I hope to inspire kids to do great things, to succeed in science, and to develop a love for science despite the challenges they are facing in their life. Archives
