 I had a great conference call today with Mrs. Kayla, who is the VP of Operations for the nonprofit Paper For Water. I will be partnering with them to bring a workshop to the community. Super Science Kids will be providing science kits exploring water! Build a well, water filtration, and surface tension! These kits will also be given to shelter kids, too. I will try to get them to help make origami ornaments. But, the workshop will focus on creating origami ornaments as a fundraiser for Paper For Water. I hope tons of people join me to help Paper For Water raise money to build wells in India and Africa!! My goal: $25,000!! Just keep swimming! PS I like conference calls because I can wear my jammies. www.paperforwater.org

AuthorMy name is Angelica Krubeck and I am 14 years old. I love science. It's one of my favorite things to do. When I was 8, one of my friends opened up to me. She shared how she grew up in a shelter and how hard every day was. After that conversation, I decided I wanted to help kids like her in some way. Science I love and kids I love, so put them together and it just makes sense. I knew that some kids out there don't get the chance to be creative with science, like how I do. I strongly believe that no kid should be without the education and enjoyment of science! Not only does it help them get away from their worries for a little while, but it also provides education to them. I hope to inspire kids to do great things, to succeed in science, and to develop a love for science despite the challenges they are facing in their life. Archives
