If you are interested in getting involved in the community, Pebble Tossers is a wonderful place to look for those opportunities! Whether you're looking for service hours or something with more of a commitment, they will help you cast that first pebble. www.pebbletossers.com We want to give a warm shout out to an amazing organization called Pebble Tossers. We are so thankful for everything they have done for us. Pebble Tossers took us under their wing and continues to guide us through this nonprofit realm. They opened the door to a trial run at the My Sister's House Shelter in Atlanta at one of their service evenings and continues to build our confidence in helping us develop our organization. A special thank you goes to Mrs. Jennifer Guynn. It was really Angelica's first meeting with you that gave her idea momentum! Your willingness to meet with us in the beginning is a kindness we will never forget.

AuthorMy name is Angelica Krubeck and I am 14 years old. I love science. It's one of my favorite things to do. When I was 8, one of my friends opened up to me. She shared how she grew up in a shelter and how hard every day was. After that conversation, I decided I wanted to help kids like her in some way. Science I love and kids I love, so put them together and it just makes sense. I knew that some kids out there don't get the chance to be creative with science, like how I do. I strongly believe that no kid should be without the education and enjoyment of science! Not only does it help them get away from their worries for a little while, but it also provides education to them. I hope to inspire kids to do great things, to succeed in science, and to develop a love for science despite the challenges they are facing in their life. Archives
